I am looking for a decent car to get me back and forth to work and school, I have a little girl so I need a dependable cheap car. All I have is about $2,500 or so ot work with? That is why I was asking about this car. It is A small, cheap car and it is 4 door. I have to have a 4 door. Car seats are so hard to work with in a 2 door car! Thank you and any advice would be greatly appreciated. EdenDawne**

4 cylinders are good but i think your going to get more life expectancy out of a v6 prefferably 3800 or 3100 just my opinion i have a oldsmobile with 3800 with over 200 k runs like new still good luck

Grand Am are excillent cars, atleast in my opnion, if this car has average miles for it's age which are about 100000miles and the Transmission is in good condition then I would say that it should last you for another 100000-150000miles w/ minor repair here and there but nothing big.
