Hi guys i want to buy a car and have narrowed my budget for 11 lakh i want to know which is the best car o acn have with onroad price uptill 11 lakh i do'nt mind if ur choises are petrol & diesel i was lookin at a Optra Magnum a Accent GLE and a lancer LXD but want to know which model in the car segment is correct for me i like the MAGNUM LT TCDI its really good but want to know the public opinion too how's it on mileage, parts, maintainence etc please help me out !!!!

I think the choice is natural. You can choose from either the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Skoda Octavia or the Chevrolet Optra Magnum. So the Honda Civic comes in as the clear winner. The basic model should be a tad over Rs.11,00,000. Please don't even think of the Accent or the Lancer as they do not sell well here and can only satisfy a particular niche. I heard that the Magnum is an awesome car but even people who own a Magnum would any day want to own a Civic instead. Don't look further, buy a Civic!

If you drive more than 40kms a day, then go for the optra. Otherwise, go for the civic if you can stretch your budget a little.

well chevy has good repute in market. mileage@12 is decent for parts are costly & maintainence its minimum coz of good quality control standards. in short a good buy.

other options :-why not honda city/ maruti suzuki sx4?
