I have around a 5000 dollar budget. i am looking for a nice looking car that will get me through my junior/senior life next year in high school. I keep on switching cars. at first i wanted a jeep wrangler lifted 4x4, then a ford ranger, then just a truck in general, now im into mitshubishi eclipses!!! These cars are awsome they are customizable. They also go pretty fast. Im looking at cars on craigslist so just give me some suggestions. please no girly cars i need a car that can get me girls not repell them

toyota tacoma. they are super reliable (better than a ford ranger), decent on gas (around 22-25 mpg), reasonable insurance, good looks.... the mitsu will have higher insurance because it is a sportier car but i agree they do look cool.

Go with either a 3rd gen or 4th gen f body, either camaro or firebird. You can pick them up cheap. I had an 84 trans am, paid 600 for it, put 4 grand into it. It was my daily driver for 2 years and would run 12's on street tires, mid 11's on slicks. Just my opinion, lol the gm fans all hate the fords. Personally Its all up to you. Right now you can pick up a 4th gen camaro with an lt1 engine and 6speed tranny for 4000 and get high 12's low 13's right away. Great platform and easy to work on. Still get 14 miles to the gallon btw

You would not want an Austin Metro. Was my first car and that repelled boys :-( Good luck finding a car.

From a girls perspective, I LOVE guys with big trucks. Preferably a Ford diesel in black.
