We are looking at small SUVs, CX-7, CR-V, Vue, Rogue, etc. Does anyone have any advice on any of these?

Honda CR-V
Reliability, Resale, Reputation.
Many good small SUVs on the road, but I believe the CR-V is the best.

The CR-v has the best track record when it comes to reliability and resale. A Rav-4 is also a good bet. They both hold their values and rarely have any problems. The build quality is better and they tend to be a little more refined.
The CX-7 gets lousy mileage and Mazda's have not held their value or been very reliable since Ford took over. It rides a little harsh, but seems to have a lot to offer for the $$ if you go easy on the options. I would be a little wary of long term reliability of a turbo motor though.
The Rogue looks promising, and is the sports car of the bunch (excepting the CX-7 in all fairness). Resale and reliability are likely to be average.
The new Vue is a big improvement over the piece of junk it replaces. It is heavy and sucks gas, and GM products do not have a history of good reliability and resale.
4 cylinder - RAV4 or CR-V
6 cylinder - RAV4
Wild card, emotional buy - Rogue
