Toyota FJ Cruiser or Motorcycle?

I'm having a debate with myself on what my next vehicle should be.

I'm currently 16, got my license in August and got a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS about a month after.

I want to join the Marines after high school, which will be in 2016. After going through boot camp and possible deployment soon after, it'll probably be 2017 or 18. I want to get a used car then.

Q1- Toyota FJ Cruiser or Sports Bike (example: Ducati 1198s Super Bike)?

I like off-roading and I like quick bikes, so those are my 2 options.
Which would be better for a serviceman? Which is cheaper fuel- and insurance-wise?

Think of getting through basic training first. Marine boot camp is not as easy as you think it may be.

Your choice of cars will probably change by then, but of the two I would definitely go with the FJ Cruiser and then you can later get a bike as a week end cruiser. Good Luck on your military enlistment.
