So I drive I 2003 mustang, my question is when I brake are all the lights supposed to light up? The first two on each side do but the ones at the end don't.

The lights at the end that do not work either means that the bulb is fused or or you need to change your tail lights.

Of the three lights per side, the inner two are combination tail and brake lights, while the outside light, closest to the edge of the rear are only taillights. There should also be a third brake light working in the back window.

Check for good bulb, check for wiring connection, last option is you could bring your car to AutoZone for free quick check & advise.
