In short, no.

There are 26,311 cars currently available on CarMax. 2,032 are BMW, Lexus, Audi or Mercedes. 894 of those are 2007 or newer. Zero are $18K or less. There are two (out of 2,032....) that are less than $20K - both are stripped down manual transmission, no option, low end Audis.

While it might be possible to find a little bit better deal within your price range and specs somewhere, I'd be very suspicious. Salvage title, non-disclosed lien or ownership problems, something shady. Con artists see guys that want a "too good to be true deal" coming a mile away.

In general, you'll need to either raise your budget or lower your expectations.

If you signed the contract it is all yours. You can pay it off sooner than the 5 years. I must say, you got taken. The sales person saw you coming. You should warn others around base to not do the same thing. You might also check with your local lawyer on base and have them review the contract to see if it is legal. The military can black ball businesses like these that are ripping off people.

You can get a basic Toyota Corolla for about that and the gas mileage is terrific!!!!! We love ours and don't mind not having the electric windows and all those other bells a whistles.

Check the yahoo Autos section. They have used car listings. For the price and the type of car you might find a 2007 with many many miles on it.

Well, the great thing with your budget is that you are guaranteed an excellent car either way. For $15,000-$20,000 you can find an excellent car that has what you want and what you need. The only problem is that I think you are setting your sights pretty high, Germans used cars are terrible, and I am not joking. People have found their BMW just lock the doors and then the windows would stop working, Mercedes-Benz cars have always had problems like with the transmission, and Audi's are the only real choice but the FWD is not attractive for the car. The Lexus is really the only choice but the IS250 are terrible in acceleration, the IS350 is the only real choice but the steering feels too electronic and numb. For $20,000, I would recommend you look into the 2006-2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe w/Sports Package, 0-60 in 5.3 is great and the car was on the CarandDrivers 10Best. The first time you test drive it, you will really appreciate for what the car can do. But this car may not interest you, here is a list of cars around your price range that might spark an interest:
