In Texas, how many days can you return a new car if it is not a good fit?

I just purchased a new car, and I think it is too big, and I should have gone with the smaller car. Isn't there a window one can return the car? Thanks

Zero. Enjoy your car, there is no 'buyers remorse' rule in TX or any other state for that matter, although everyone thinks there is. It's called Urban Legend.

The minute you buy a new car it becomes a used car and loses value. Be sure before you sign the purchase agreement, because once your name is on the line, the car is yours. No, you can't get out of it by not driving it off the lot. You can't get out of it by returning it to the lot either. If you do, they can charge your storage and/or have your car removed as an abandoned vehicle.

0 days.

Your only bet now is to work with the dealer you bought it from and see if you can get into that smaller car, but you will likely lose a bunch of money.
